Energy-As-A-Service For Yourself?

An interesting article published by Deloitte UK, (www2.deloitte.com/uk/en/pages/energy-and-resources/articles/energy-as-a-service.html).

The article indicated by combining a large pool of assets to provide smart energy back to the power grid. I would assume these assets are usually PV systems. And excess energy generated by PV systems are "sold" to the power grid. In return, the power grid can supply renewable energy back to the community.

This is an interesting business model that would eventually be more prevalent as countries work towards a low carbon emission target and adherence to the Paris Agreement, which was adopted during COP21 in 2015.
